      Very helpful

      Another great Happyland set

We have quite a few Happyland sets, and as well as this treehouse, we have the Cherry Lane Cottage and the Rose Cottage. All of them are brilliant and my girls play with them all the time. The treehouse is quite tall and has an opening at the top for the fairy figures to go inside. There's a family of mum, dad and a baby fairy, with little chairs and a snail carriage for them to ride in, which sits in the bottom behind the moveable gate. There's also a crank to pull up a basket of food. The door makes a fairy world type sound when it opens, although I've found its quite sensitive so a slight knock and it goes off again, but not a major issue. As with all the house sets, for some reason the doors come off quite easily, and once they start, they seem to loosen and therefore fall off more easily and regularly as time goes on, so I'm always being asked to fix them.

My girls love this house, especially sending the figures down the slide and pushing them round in the carriage. We've had it for over 2 years now and it still gets played with often, with different parts appealing at different ages. As toddlers, they loved just opening and closing the tree top, or putting the carriage inside and out again, then getting older they can roleplay more and more, pretending to give the food to the figures, using the crank, swapping carriage drivers and giving other figures rides around. With younger children I do find it's fairly easy for them to push it over, but it's also very light so doesn't hurt if someone is in the way!

Overall, a great product if you can get it when ELC have it on a half price sale. I wouldn't personally pay full price, at £50.
