Advantages: I only paid half price for it!

Disadvantages: Poor design, ugly, boring

I bought this for Christmas for our 20 month old son. I got it half price ,for £3.50 from ToysRus. Our son is mad about In the Night Graden, and gets extremely excited whenever he sees anything to do with it.On that basisI was sure he would love this toy. However I was wrong. When he unwrapped it he was immediatelt disinterested in it, and threw it aside.
It is a ver disappointing toy. The plastic figure of Iggle Piggle, withhis sail,is moulded in one large piece, with absolutley minimal detailing and looks very boringand not at all life like. Theboat is made from the same rubbery plastic and is again very dissappointing, showing no detail at all.
Thereare 4 verysmall flimsy wheels on the bottom of the boat, positioned in such a way that it makes it difficult for the boat to balance or stay upright when pushed at all. I had assumed that this would work by some sort of friction , eg a pull back and let go toy, but it doesnt. You simply push it along, which again is difficult to do due to thepoorly positioned small wheels. It isabsolutely no use on carpets, and only slightly better on laminate floors due to the balance problems.
My son seemstohave no interest in thistoy, andIcantsay Iblame him! I don't think thiswill bemuchplayed with, andIam glad I only paid half price for it!

Summary: A bad buy!
