Advantages: Looks wicked; Cute phrases; Easy to press

Disadvantages: Gets dirty quick and can't go in the washing machine

If you're looking for something to buy a toddler for Xmas then you should consider one of these talking Makka Pakka toys, my 2 year old sister had hers for Xmas last year and she still loves it.

It looks just like the Makka Pakka in the tv programme In The Night Garden and is lovely and soft for kids to hold and cuddle up to in bed. You have to press his tummy to hear him speak and that's very easy to do, my sister didn't have any problems learning where to press and even though Makka Pakkas tummy is quite fat she can still press it correct the first time.

He says things from the tv programme like Agga Pang and Mikka Makka Moo, I know that looks like gibberish but that's just how Makka Pakka talks! lol

He's very safe and neither of the eyes or the nose have come loose or anything since my sister has had Makka Pakka. You can only surface wash the toy and that's a bit stupid because he's a light beige colour and gets dirty quick. I don't recommend you put it in the washing machine though because we did that with Upsy Daisy last month when my sister was sick on it and now she doesn't talk at all. The best thing to do I reckon is give him a quick wipe every few days with a baby wipe and that will help you keep on top of the cleaning.

I remember I paid £18.00 for this Makka Pakka last year but I think they've gone up a bit in price this year, on Amazon it's currently priced at £22.00 and because Makka Pakka isn't that big I think that's a bit expensive for what it is.

My little sister loves it though and I don't mind spending the money on something she's going to like as much. It's still in brill condition even though she plays with Makka Pakka every day and even sleeps with it at night.
