Advantages: Anything that keeps my daughter entertained for hours is an advantage!

Disadvantages: The ground it's placed on needs to be flat

We bought this for my eldest daughter for Christmas, and it is still one of her favourite toys.

She's scared of the sound of hoovers, so at first- due to the noise of this toy (sounds a little like the suction of a hoover), she approached this toy with caution. When she realised how much fun it was, she played with it for an hour and a half none stop.

The colouring of this ball popping toy has altered slightly from this picture shown on Dooyoo- but for the better I'd day. It's colours are more neutral, with the shoot being red, green and yellow, and the bottom part being blue. It's colours instantly draw children to it, plus unlike the original design, it now has a blue smiley face on the top of the shoot, and the ball releasing button is now yellow with a smiley face.

The ball shoot now comes with five different coloured balls and plays five different musical sounds when the ball releasing button is pressed.

My daughter simply has to drop the ball through the shoot, and the balls pop out of the top. Each time the yellow smiley face is pressed, the toy plays a different tune.

My daughter has hours of fun pushing the balls back down the shoot- and we spend hours laughing at her pushing balls back down the wrong hole and wondering why they're not popping out again.

Besides the hours of fun and laughter my daughter gets from this toy, I've noticed a big improvement in her co-ordination skills. She's learning the different colours of the balls, and she even taught us that if you keep pressing the button, then the balls pop up higher and the songs play faster.

The toy is recommended for 9 months and upwards, which I think is about right due to the fact that the balls can fly out at some speed.

This normally retails for about £25.99 from larger shops like Argos-but we picked it up in the sale for £18.99!

In my opinion, the only draw back to this toy, is that if the ground is not completely flat, then the balls have trouble going town the shoot. You end up with a back-log of balls, which you then have to push down yourselves- and they fly everywhere in the process.

Summary: Great toy for little boys and girls
