My son had this bought for him for his 2nd birthday, I was a bit dubious at first as wondered how much fun a child could have spinning round in circles as I know it would make me feel sick.
It took him a while to realise you were actually supposed to sit on it and not stand on it, but as soon as he realised he soon got the hang and was spinning round and round in circles. At first all he would do is spin, but now he is 3 he has actually worked out how to use the game in the middle and play 'simon says' so now he will be listening to the instructions of 'spin faster', 'stop' etc and still loves it now.
Its not a toy I would ever of dreamed of buying myself, but its a really good toy and he loves it and not bad value for money as only £19.99 in argos. Plus its great for children to spin at that age as helps them to develop all their levels of co-ordination which you do not get with a lot of other toys.
This is a great toy, we brought this for our eldest son when he was a year old. We brought it from argos for £20. It is what it says sit and spin. Your child sits on the bottom circle and holds on to the bit in the middle then it is up to the child how fast they spin the wheel to how fast they go. In the middle there are a number of lights and sounds where you can play a game like simon says, music play or quiet play. Simon says tells the child what to do like spin it faster. The faster the child spins the toy the faster the music and lights flash. Its great cause they can do this at their own pace. When my son first got this he would just sit on it and spin it round, since he has got older he has been able to play the different games on it. Its a toy that can be used for many years.
