Advantages: lasts for years and never grow out of it
Disadvantages: the sound in the middle is very quiet
My son had this bought for him for his 2nd birthday, I was a bit dubious at first as wondered how much fun a child could have spinning round in circles as I know it would make me feel sick.
It took him a while to realise you were actually supposed to sit on it and not stand on it, but as soon as he realised he soon got the hang and was spinning round and round in circles. At first all he would do is spin, but now he is 3 he has actually worked out how to use the game in the middle and play 'simon says' so now he will be listening to the instructions of 'spin faster', 'stop' etc and still loves it now.
Its not a toy I would ever of dreamed of buying myself, but its a really good toy and he loves it and not bad value for money as only £19.99 in argos. Plus its great for children to spin at that age as helps them to develop all their levels of co-ordination which you do not get with a lot of other toys.
Summary: a great way to teach you child co-ordination whilst having fun at the same time.
