      Very helpful

A nice and well played with toy, that i will be saving for my sis's kids!

The toy I will now review is the one gift that has caused the most arguments in my house over the festive period, and probably beyond!

The toy I will now review is - "Sit & Spin - Spiderman and friends"

Now the whole intention of this particular gift choice was simple, my younger sister bought it with intention of seeing how long it would take before my son to spin and throw up over the Christmas tree..... Yes the little cowbag has no children as of yet, but I am saving all the noisy and messy toys for when she does decide to breed, oh and how I look forward to that day!

The toy comes in four parts, one large oval base which is where the child sits and where all the sound effects come from, two halves of the centre stick, this part snaps together and holds the handle piece. Finally the handle piece, this is a plastic circle that screws onto the centre stick and is the part that the child propels themselves around with.

You must first insert the batteries into the underside of the base. This particular unit takes 3 x AA batteries.
After snapping the centre stick together this must then be screwed into the handle disc, once this has been done it simply snaps into the base and away you go!

The oval base has markings at the widest ends, this is where the child should sit, this also allows them plenty of room for them to wrap there legs around the centre stick.
On the base is also a button that the child presses before starting to spin, this plays the Spiderman theme tune and also shouts out phrases that is supposed to encourage the child to keep spinning.

The rest is easy, the child sits down, wraps their legs around the centre stick then drags themselves around with the centre disc.
If your child is particularly fit they can pick up a bit of speed, my son does but unfortunately we have laminate flooring, he seems to start at one end of the room and ends up at the other!

The toy is aimed at age 18 months - 5 ½ years old. My son is 3 years old so this is ideal for him. My daughter, however, is 7, nearly 8 years old and is very tall for her age, she still manages to get on it and have a go.

The toy is very hard wearing and made from sturdy plastic, this is perfect due to my son being somewhat rough with all of his toys. It is also coloured with the obligatory Spiderman colours (red and blue), and is pleasant to look at.

This is a nice and unusual toy, my kids have had hours of fun with it, highly recommended!

This toy was purchased for the sum of £19.99 from Woolworths, I know not much use to you now!

These are however, available for purchase from www.amazon.co.uk
