Advantages: Cute figures that are well made

Disadvantages: They are to small and don't do anything interesting

My sister got this for Christmas and today when we were moving the furniture round in the living room we found 3 of the toys and still don't know where the others are. This toy is so rubbish that nobody had even noticed that it had even been lost and even my baby sister didn't ask where any of the toys were.

In the box you get figures of the 6 main characters from In The Night Garden and when my sister first saw the set she loved it but it's v. uninteresting and so she didn't play with it much. The figures are so tiny and even though they're chunky so little hands can hold them they don't do much and this is why my sister got bored.

The figures look nice and look like how the characters look on TV. They were a bit too shiny when they were brand new and look loads better now they have been played with a bit and got duller because they looked too perfect when they were shiny new. I like how Iggle is holding his blanket and the Tombeboos have got there trousers over their arms because thats what they look like on TV but I wish they had made a little Ogpog for Makka Pakka or even a sponge because he is always cleaning.

Today it was Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle and one of the Tombeboos we found behind the settee and we played with them for a bit. It was good when my sister got them lined up to go and search for the rest of the figures even though me and my mum think they have probably fell to the bottom of her toy drawer and I will check later for her because she is having a bit of a phase for them since we found these ones.

I think these are good for imagination play because my sister plays tea parties and things like that with them. She was getting stressed out today because she couldn't make Upsy Daisy sit down and I just think these toys are much too basic to be played with very often because they are not poseable or anything like that. There sturdy little toys because they are made of solid plastic and my dad said today that when she's bored of them again put them upstairs in her toy net by the bath and at least they would be used and all kept in one place.

I would say to buy these if your baby is into In The Night Garden but don't expect too much from it and remember that the toys don't do much so if your baby is more adventurous than normal like my sister was then they might be bored of them quicker than other toys. They are very little as well and are easy to lose like we have proved today. For what they are they are proper expensive, I remember when we brought this set it was about £10.00 but they are about £7.00 now in most places and that's a lot of money for something that doesn't do anything and will probably be lost.

Summary: A Waste Of Money Because There Are Better In The Night Garden Stuff To Buy

My daughter's had these for over a year and she played with them every day up until recently...she's gone off night garden completely...but she loved these toys to the point of obsession.

My daughter's had these for a year and still has them all and plays with them. Although I don't think they're great, (Upsy Daisy is so worn she looks like a ravaged zombie), I actually prefer toys that don't 'do' anything as they're better for the imagination (and tend not to irritate adults so much!)
