Iggle Piggle is my daughters favourite character out of the childrens television programme 'In the Night Garden'.

'In the Night Garden' is a childrens television programme and now, story book collection, about a group of toys who live in the night garden, otherwise known as a childs imagination or dreamworld. The show has many educational and development elements to it. The show helps a child to relax and helps their imagination to grow. The use of songs and many rhyming words also helps to develop the childs speach. The episodes are bright and colourful and as I say full of songs. Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy are the main characters within the story. They are joined by Makka Pakka, the tombliboos, the Haahoos, the Ninky Nonk, the wottingers and the Pontipines in the night garden.

Iggle Piggle is my daughters favourite character and so when I found a Talking Iggle Piggle I couldn't resist but to buy it for her. It was one of the best investments I have ever made. The toy is made of a soft very touchable fabric. It has plastic eyes and nose, the mouth is embroidered on. Iggle piggle has red hair that is almost like a tag, and my daughter loves to play with this. The doll is roughly 12 inches long. He has velcro attachable red comfort blanket, which can easily get lost! We have unfortunately lost ours.

The doll has a pocket in his back where the battery pack lives. This is done up by velcro and is very secure. The doll takes AA batteries to power him. He has four different sounds, including the famous 'Yes my name is Iggle Piggle'! These are activated my pressing his tummy. All of the sounds make my daughter smile instantly.
