a fab toy for young babies

My daughter was brought these as a gift when she was born. They can be brought on Amazon for £6.75 as of April 2013.

The Set comprises two wrist rattles and two feet finders each with a different bug on them. They are made in bright colours with different textures and sounds. The feet finders are socks, and the wrist rattles are secured by velcro and are very well made and durable. Even after lots of use they still look new and we have put them up in case there is a 'next time'.

We found that for a long time the feet finders were too big and kept falling off- it would be useful if there was a velcro strap on these too.

My daughter loved these right from the start, they are an ideal gift for young babies. They are really educational and really encouraged her to move her arms and legs and she loved the sounds that the bugs made. The sounds are not loud so did not startle her, but can be clearly heard and she loved the bright colours.

She used these a lot between 2-6 months old and they were great for encouraging movement and play.

We were very impressed and as a result have brought a number of other lamaze toys for her. I would highly recommend and think they make an excellent gift and toy for a new baby.

        Great gift for newborns.

We bought these Lamaze bug wrist rattle and feet finders for my son when he was about 5 weeks old. We wanted something fun and educational that would help encourage him to move around.

Design - the prouct consists of 4 items. 2 feet finders and two wrist rattles. The bugs come in pairs, one of each in foot and wrist. The bracelets and socks are all individually designed. The wrist rattles are great. They have a secure Velcro strap for wrapping round the wrist and once they are on they stay on very well. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the socks. My little boy is very long and lean so this may have something to do with it but they were huge on him. I took to putting them on over socks and trouser to try and fill them up enough so they wouldn't fall off. Unfortunately I failed :(

Usage - the product worked exactly as it should. Before long my son was waving his hands and arms about, realising that as he did, the bugs moved and made noise. This amused him greatly. The most fun came from the feet finders though. He could obviously catch sight them when he moved. Before long he had his legs pulled up to his mouth and had managed to pull the sock off with his gums! Tis then allowed him to have a good old chew.

Value -we paid £15 in mothercare and were massively ripped off to be honest. They are currently £6.25 in boots. Although we paid alot we got alot from them so it was still good value. I think if you can find them for under a tender they are well worth the money.

Note: the same product is available in a mainly black and white pattern. I think the black and white is the better choice but was unable to find it in my local shops.
