My son had this set bought for him for Christmas, I don't know how much the person paid but I have since seen the set in Tesco's for just £6 which I think is a brilliant price. The set contains two wrist rattles which consists of a soft fabric strap which has a velcro fastening to go around each of the baby's wrists, on top of each wrist strap is a soft fabric garden bug which has a small rattle in it. The noise that these make draw the baby towards them and get them grabbing for either rattle, meaning they learn where there hands are (my son currently thinks that his hands are the best toys he has). There are also two little socks that have garden bugs on the toes. Not only do these ones rattle but they are made of very bright colours to help catch their attention.

These rattles are okay to use from newborn but I don't think my son would have known what to do with them before around 2 months. They do their job very well though, as he now plays with his fingers quite often and can guide them much better, showing that they have helped improve his co-ordination. It is such a shame that they aren't made to last longer in size (until roughly six months) as I am sure it would continue to help babies build in their confidence of co-ordination. The toys are well made and I have no issues with the stitching, they have no signs of wear and no rips either so I am sure they are strong enough to last the extra few months.
