Advantages: Lovely colours, easy to attach

Disadvantages: Not that useful, very short lived toy

I have used these wrist rattles with my son since he was 8 weeks old. They are two fabric straps secured by velcro with a bug on each strap that rattles and tinkles. The wrist rattles I have are a little ladybug and a dragonfly looking bug with wings. The bugs are made with nice fabrics, some of them quite shiny. The straps are black and white striped so they catch the eye for a baby.

At first the rattles didn't really interest him he just sat and stared at them. But now he's older he does flick his hands around I think to listen to them, but probably to try and get them off. I think these rattles are more suited to younger babies because the strap is a bit short and doesn't stay done up anymore.

I bought them as a set with the foot rattles for £9.99 from amazon. I wouldn't buy them again, they haven't been as successful as I'd hoped.

Summary: A nice idea didn't really have much of an impact with our son
