Advantages: not too loud, not too tinny

two things instantly strike me about this toy. Firstly the tunes are not tinny or squeaky like most baby toys and sound less like a badly played child's keyboard and more like demo tunes from a more costly casio...secondly they music is ethnically diverse with African, Caribbean and Oriental tunes coming to mind as well as western.

Another good thin is that you can change the modes and have rhymes to sing along with (each one relevant to the scene on that side of the cube) or just tunes.

This is a lovely toy for a baby from about six months, it can help encourage then to sit up, motor skills for handling it, helping with crawling as it rolls easily (despite being cubed). Now at 14 months I am a bit bored of it but my baby now loves picking it up and carrying it across the room.

It washes/wipes clean well, is engaging, educational & the batteries have just needed replacing so lasted about 12 months.

Summary: fun toy for 6-18 months.
