Advantages: Well made

Disadvantages: Loud

My son was given this toy as a present from his Grandparents for his second birthday. It is a cute little toy that he enjoys playing with. It can currently be purchased from Amazon (February 2013) for £6.61. It is aimed at children aged between 9 months and two years, so limited age range really. The toy is brightly coloured, in primary colours and has a green bear as the pilot. It is chunky and sturdily made. It requires 2 AAA batteries that were included. It came in a box and was very well secured by those annoying plastic tags that are very difficult to remove quickly.

The toy is designed to teach your child the alphabet. It has an on off switch on the body of the plane that has two volume settings, both of which are fairly loud. The bear has a British accent and says the following three phrases "lets fly to the sky in my aeroplane, neeeoooowm", "and the alphabet in full", with the correct British pronunciation of the letter "z), and "neoooooowm" by itself.

The batteries are located on the underneath of the plane and you will need a tiny Phillips screw driver to be able to change them. Overall, my son enjoys playing with this toy, he is able to use the switch easily and generally tends to just use the toy as a plane without the sound effects most of the time; this is like as the sounds do come very repetitive after a while.

Overall I would recommend this toy to others as it is well made, sturdy, looks good and is well priced.

Summary: Fun toy plane
