This was one of the first toys I purchased for my daughter. Having a keen interest in music myself, I wanted to introduce her to child friendly instruments as soon as possible in the hope that she may to gain a love for music. This toy is made by the reputable Little Tikes brand and can be picked up in the majority of toys stores for around £10. They are very bright and come in a range of different colours. Our little tikes piano is predominantly red and the piano keys are blue, green, yellow and orange and they produce a xylophone type sound when pressed. It is nice and chunky making it easy to carry. There are no removable parts which also helps to make it a ... Read the complete review

The Little Tikes Baby Tap a Tune Piano is a simple, fun toy aimed at babies. I bought this for my son when he was 7 months old, and it has provided hours of entertainment. I purchased it from Tesco for around £10. The piano has four chunky, easy-to-press coloured keys which produce different sounds (going up or down the scale) when pressed. The toy is well designed for babies and has smooth, round edges - there are no easily removable parts. It is designed for ages: 6 to 36 months and is an ideal first instrument for little ones. The piano is small so easy to store. It is mainly made from plastic so can be easily cleaned by wiping over with a damp ... Read the complete review

While I do love little Tikes toys I was a little dubious about this toy as my son already has a few keyboards that are battery operated which he loved so I thought this might be a bit basic for him. We have this one in red but the keys are the same colours and press each key and you get a .xylophone type sound. This is quite small so can easily be carried around. It is strong has no removable parts so nothing to get lost. It is completely wipe able to easy to clean. The bright primary colours are ideal for attracting little one's attention My son loves this toy. He sits and bangs it with no tune but completely enjoyed it. He carries it ... Well as a father my son loves to make noise and is amazed by new sounds as kids and toddlers are still learning and everything is an adventure. He loves to bang things and make noise or is that just all kids. Well anyway I was looking for some new toys for him as he is only young and also is really hard to try and pick him something he likes becasue most toys are to old for him. So I came across this toy piano it cost me fourteen pound in smyths toy store. It is great as he pushes the keys different tune comes out and he loves it and there is also a wee stick you can hit other chime type things on the top. He loves playing with this and also he never gets ... Read the complete review
