I have just bought Lotty for my second child who falls into the lower age category for this toy, but I also have a child who is too old for it at over two who sits on it and rocks it back and forth.

Lotty is bright and colourful and has lots of fabric patches on her back, rattles and crinkly noises in her feet and is mounted on solid wooden rockers. If you press one of her ear antennae a musical tune plays - the children love it but it will drive you nuts after a while.

Lotty has a big colourful face which is very endearing and cute to look at, my second child loves giving that a "kiss" or sloppy lick. My second child is quite robust for their size and rocks it quite dementedly, which makes me laugh - a word of warning though - I do have to hold them on!

I'm hoping that they will get to the stage like my other child where it can be sat on alone and then have hours of fun.

As lovely as this item is I would not pay the full price for it, I located mine on ebay and paid £15 for it. I can imagine that this toy will not suit every child and I think that my eldest is only interested because it doesn't belong to them - but we'll see.
