I thought these would be great for her as they were not too small like lego pieces, they were brightly coloured and were nice and chunky in size. The age guide is 1+. The price was only about £8.00 from Asda when I got them which is really good value although I have seen them elsewhere being sold for a lot more than that! I wanted to get my baby mega blocks so that when she is a bit older she will be getting into lego. We got managed to find some pink mega blocks at toys r us for £14.99 which contains 80 pieces - enough for a child her age (9 months) however please note that the recomended age on the packaging is 1 year. We bought these from toys r us for our sons 1st birthday as i have always seen mega bloks everywhere and alot of our friends children have them so he is quite familiar with them and seemed to like them. They were priced at £14.99 at the time and since buying them i havent seen them anywhere else cheaper but its always worth a search on the net. The pack contains 22 blocks....some of which have different animals on, or bits and pieces that move. Also in the pack there are tree shaped blocks and some regular plain ones. The pack is a zip up one making it easy to bring the blocks somewhere when visiting family etc. My little boy has really enjoyed playing ...
