I would not recommend this water activity toy from Mothercare. I thought it looked quite basic but figured it would be useful for when my son is a little older. When I used it with a 7 month old, she was less than impressed. I have used it with our 4 month old and he looks away so I guess it isn't much fun for younger babies either. It says suitable from 6 months but by that age, they expect something a bit more exciting. The toy can be used as one long tube or it will separate into 4 separate toys. Mothercare Waterways Activity Tube................ Jack loves a bath and one thing I can really remember as a child is having so many toys in the bath and loving every minute of it. So when I was in Mothercare browsing their bath toy section I stumbled across this Activity Tube and thought it looked brilliant. The idea of seeing water working its way down a tube really appealed so even though I thought £5.99 pence was a large amount to pay for a bath toy I thought what the heck (I have saved money on my food shopping!) I bought this for my son obviously to provide him more entertainment in the bath. He loves bath time and loves to play with toys in the bath and play with the water. I thought this would be great as it can either be one long tube toy or 4 separate toys and can be swapped around a bit. However I was quite disappointed when we got to try it out that evening in the bath. The water wheel part is a waste of space as it hardly seems to go round at all and we've tried it in different orders.
