As opposed to similar toys ... more  ... on the market, I feel that this toy has very few qualities that would be useful for my son, perhaps even for a child at the age it is intended for. A ten-month old baby is not going to get anything out of laces that can be fastened up because they are not old enough to do start learning this skill. Not only that, I would expect a toy purchased at that price to have more features for the older child to learn and develop from. My parents bought this toy, despite my protests, for my ten-month old son. It was purchased from Toys R Us at a cost of £17.99 and is actually intended for children aged three and up. Although there are no parts that would come away and be a danger to my son I tried to talk my parents out of buying it as I did not think that it was worth the money. The Noddy talking plush toy says one phrase only which is “hello, my name is Noddy, welcome to Toyland, it is fun isn’t it” then plays a little tune.
