Advantages: good for doll play
Disadvantages: ?
Tiny tears. There is a tiny tears doll called Rosie sitting in my daughters old bedroom, she is waiting for a child to play with one day my grandchild may play with her. This tiny tears is 22 years old she was bought when my daughter was 3 At the time I had a foster child who was given an identical toy by her dad (they were Christmas present) hers is called Susie. This toy gave both children hours of fun. Tiny tears were originally made by pallitoy in 1965 when Pallitoy closed they were made by Tonka and Hasbro. The standard tiny tears we have is 16 inches tall I think they make one a little taller and one smaller. Tiny tears had moveable arms and legs. I think the larger one has growing hair. There is also a boy tiny tear available now. Tiny tears accessories are available a bottle, a nappy, a dummy I think are provided with the doll. There are several clothes outfits available for her of course granny can always knot or sew you some there are patterns available in tiny tears size. She drinks from a bottle (there is a small hole where her mouth is for the bottle to be inserted) She wets her knickers and she cry’s, little tears roll down her face poor thing. She is rather cute and loveable. This doll has play value. I remember 2 little girls playing a lot with theirs taking it on shopping trips with us. Or playing I the house with them I remember listening in to the play the children pretended the dolls were doing the things they did, going shopping and staying at friends I remember a doll being got ready to go and stay with daddy packing her case waving goodbye. Sometimes these dolls were good sometimes naughty they got a lot of cuddles. I think this doll was excellent the play good as I think it helped my foster child cope with the emotions of staying away from her parents and with us. I wonder if she still has her doll, Susie as we still have the twin Rosie. Oh yes boys can play with dolls too. Thanks for reading my toy
op today best wishes Mary
