The Teletubbies is a programme aimed at pre-schoolers which was first aired in 1997. It features around 4 large, teddy type, colourful characters named Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po. Each Teletubby has its own little traits and has a tummy where videos are shown to the children. They live in Teletubbyland! Teletubby merchandise is still available despite the show no longer producing new episodes. There are DVDs, games, teddies and several different, electronic toys available on the market for Tellytubby devotees. ~~~Meet and Greet With Laa Laa~~~ Laa Laa is one of 2 girl Teletubbies in the show. She is known for her yellow colour and ... Read the complete review

My little boy Harry is a pretty massive Teletubbies fan, so when it was time to think about what to get him as his main Christmas present for last year (2007), my partner and I decided that we were going to get him a Teletubbies Teletummy toy. His cousin has one and he loves playing with it so we knew it would definitely be a present he was going to love! So on Christmas morning, Harry tore open his present to see his lovely big purple Teletubby staring up at him, causing him to exclaim "Tinky!" with a huge smile on his face! He then proceeded to play with it all day, and I think it was probably his favourite present he received. Even now, 7 weeks ... Read the complete review

These are great for Teletubby fans. My Daughters have loved Teletubbies from when were a few months old watching the baby in the sun on the program always made them smile. Teletubbies is a great childrens programme to get little ones imaginations racing. There is four charaters and you can get this toy in each character, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po. Though Laa Laa and Po are harder to come by as they seem to be the most popular. The toy is a nice size, you press the hand and it has lights flashing in there 'aerial' as the 'tv' on their tummy goes round and shows all the Teletubbies while it plays the famous Teletubbies song. I clearly remember my oldest son receiving this as a gift from my mum when she came back from her holiday... Well he was too little for a Stick of Rock! Tinky Winky was my least favourite Teletubbie, with his red handbag swinging on his arm! But the toy is actually really cute, it's a plush toy with a hard plastic face and a light up antenna on his head which lights up in a red colour when the hand is pushed. Pushing the button in the hand also activates the moving telly in Tinky Winky's tummy. The picture inside moves along to create a scene of the Teletubbies and the theme song can also be heard. It's very easy for a little one to ... Read the complete review

teletubbies teletummy toy - choose from tinky winky, dispsy, la la and po, we bought po and she was 24.99 i think you can get them from most toy shops. my daughter is only 10months old although she cant do it herself, but when pressed she squeals with delight and gets very excited - it is one of her favourite toys! she loves watching the teletubbies and 'dances' and bobs up and down everytime she hears the theme tune come on tv so that inspired me to buy her one! They are bright colours (tinky winky- purple, dispsy - green, la la - yellow and po - red) and very soft to touch. you squeeze the teletubbies hand to activate the lights in the antenna, ...
