Advantages: Bright and colourful, can play different games
Disadvantages: He always wants to play again!!
This interactive toy is another character from the popular Sesame Street range. Elmo is covered in bright, soft, red fur and is suitable for children aged 2-3 upwards. He has replaceable batteries and, like all Sesame Street toys, is of very good quality. There are several games to play as you can: - Tickle him by squeezing his tummy - he laughs and giggles at this. - Throw him up in the air to make him go dizzy (which he WILL tell you when he is!!) - Bounce him on your knee to which he squeals "bouncy bouncy" with delight! If you stop playing with him he asks you to play again but only asks 3-4 times then switches off so that it doesn't drive you mad ALL night! As he was first available a year or so ago, you may be able to buy him for £10-15 from toy shops rather than pay the full price of £20. This would be an ideal toy for most age groups but I wouldn't recommend it for children under 2 years as they would not be able to perform the actions to make him respond properly. As I have said before, he is very cute, quite large (20 inches maybe) and very soft for children to cuddle. Might not be a good idea to take him to bed though, because if they squeeze him too tight, he'll end up laughing and no-one will get any sleep!
