      Very annoying toy

I have always loved Winnie the Pooh and when I am shopping for toys for my girls I am always drawn to the characters toys, we found this in one of the supermarkets and I think it cost about £8 although this will have been about 3 years ago now so I am not sure what it sells at now. The toy is aimed at children aged 18 months and up over although I think it is a little heavy so I haven't got it out of the loft for my youngest yet and she is 19 months old.

The Tigger radio is made of a jade coloured hard plastic and has Tigger lying across the top of it, Tiggers tail curves around the top of the radio and makes the carry handle for the radio which i think is cute and my daughter used to love carrying it around the room with her. On the front of the radio you have a bright yellow circular button which turns to each of four characters which are Piglet, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger which of course are the four main characters from the series.

To use the radio your child has to turn the button from one character to another and then the radio will play a tune, the button was quite hard for our daughter to work to begin with and is really stiff when the toy is new, my daughter started playing with this when she was two years old so she was higher in age than the toy recommends. The radio plays four different tunes one for each character and when the tune is finished Tigger will say "that's one tiggerific tune"

My daughter loved this radio but any adult in their right mind would get annoyed with this toy, firstly you have to set the toy off for your child as they are unable to turn the button themselves which is bad enough but then they manage the button and the same four tunes are played continuously. I got to the point where I really hated this toy and even more so when my sister was round as she liked one tune in particular and would keep setting the same toy off. I will get this toy out of the loft when I think my youngest is not likely to fling it in temper as it is heavy and could cause some damage.

This toy has was played with for about 1 1/2 years before my eldest started to get bored of it yet we never had to change the batteries so in that respect the toy is brilliant, the toy takes 3 x AA batteries which I would expect once it comes back downstairs we will have to change. This toy should be made lighter and the suggested age needs putting up a little, the toy is loads of fun for children and it was one of my daughters favourite toys but as an adult there is one word and that is annoying.

Any Tigger fan will love it

This is one of my son's favourite toys so I just had to write a review on it.

The Tigger Friendship Circle Radio is made of hard plastic and is suitable for ages 18month+. I would say this is a realistic age rating.

The radio features a big Tigger lying across the top, with Tigger's tail curling back to make a handle. The handle is a good size and is easy for a toddler to hold on to. The toy is around 15cm in height and width.
On the front of the radio there are pictures of Eyeore, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet. There are two round speakers as well as two music note shapes that light up.

The Radio is controlled by a little dial in the middle. This dial can be fiddly for a younger child to use and would probably result in frustration and temper tantrums! My son is 21 months old and has been able to manage the dial on his own for a few months. When he was a little younger he couldn't turn it on his own so I had to endlessly turn it on for him! Because of this I would recommend not buying this before your child is able to turn it on themselves.

The dial has four positions and each one starts a different tune. The tunes are musical melodies without singing. One tune is the 'There was a man who had a dog and Bingo was his name-o' one, and it drives me mad! I can't help but sing that song, but my son seems to enjoy it. After the song you hear Tigger say 'That's one Tiggerific tune' and then laugh.
It's the same sentence each time and I think it would have been nice to have the other characters say a sentence each for variety.

This toy takes 3 x AA batteries. I had to go and check this as although we have had it around 6 months and it gets daily use, we have never had to change the batteries. This has impressed me, as too many toys seem to eat batteries like crazy!

It is a handy size for travelling and often ends up in the car as my son chooses it to take with him on journeys.

I would recommend this toy for any little Tigger and/or music fan. They will love it but the tunes will probably drive you mad!

CUTE LITTLE TIGGER RADIO BUT NO TIGGERIFFIC VOICES

BEING A BIG FAN OF FISHER PRICE IN GENERAL,WE DECIDED TO BUY THIS FOR OUR LITTLE GIRL.IT COST £7.99 FROM TESCO SO I FELT IT WAS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND IT WAS ALSO A NAME THAT I TRUSTED AND IT FEATURED TIGGER AND FRIENDS.MY DAUGHTER IS 15 MONTHS OLD AND HER LITTLE FACE LIGHT UP WHEN SHE SAW THIS.THE RADIO IS TURNED ON BY A LITTLE KNOB THAT YOU HAVE TO TWIST.WE FOUND THAT THIS WAS TOO HARD FOR A BABY TO DO,PERHAPS A PUSH BUTTON WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE AGE APPROPRIATE.THE RADIO DID PLAY A SELECTION OF TUNES BUT IT WAS MUSIC ONLY..NO TIGGER OR FRIENDS SINGING SO MY DAUGHTER DIDNT SEEM MUCH INTERESTED.THE TOY ITSELF CAN BE CARRIED BY TIGGERS TAIL WHICH DOUBLES AS A HANDLE BUT I FELT IT WAS QUITE HEAVY FOR LITTLE HANDS TO CARRY.ON A PLUS SIDE THE TOY WAS DURABLE AND EASY TO KEEP CLEAN,QUALITIES WHICH WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM FISHER PRICE.PITY FP HADNT ADDED IN POOH,PIGLET AND CO SINGING BUT SADLY THE ONLY THING TO LINK THIS TO TIGGER AND FRIENDS IS THE TIGGER ON TOP OF THE RADIO.

I thought this was a good toy at the time!

I remember buying this about 5 years ago now when my oldest daughter had just had her mmr so she was about 13 months old, I felt like a bad mummy so thought that a toy would make up for it! This toy says it is suitable for 18 months and upward but it is so chunky and nothing small that looks like it would fall of so I thought it would be fine for her.

We bought this in Woolworths for about £7.99 at the time but I have seen it selling for as cheap as a £1 on Ebay now - that is of course used though. I have also seen this toy in Tesco recently so seems to be available in various places.

So this product is just like a little radio with tigger lying across the top and his tail takes the form of a handle which makes it very easy for little hands to carry around. There is a picture of some of his other friends below him and below that is a yellow dial which you click round to get different tunes to play. While the music is playing the music symbols light up. Its volume is certainly loud enough but it takes quite a bit of effort to actually turn the dial, even by the time she was 18 months she struggled.
I was glad of this after I had turned this a few times for her though as the tunes can get so annoying and she quickly forgot it existed when I drew her attention to something else.

My daughter then received another one for her christmas that year and now my youngest recently received one so they seem to everywhere. It is unusual to see a toy like this still on the go so many years later though.

There were a few things which I did not like about this product. First of all it is too difficult for little hands to use it, the second thing is it can be very sore if dropped on themselves like they do as it is quite heavy. Finally the other reason I am not keen on it is when it starrts to run low in batteries it really starts to drone but a simple solution is to change the batteries of course.

            a radio for babies

We're a bit Winnie the Pooh and friends mad in our house, well the females amongst us are anyway. My poor baby daughter doesn't stand a chance and she already loves Tigger.
One of the presents she received for her birthday was the Tigger Friendship circle radio. It's a solid radio, small enough for a toddler to pick up and carry, with tigger's tail doubling up as the handle.

The box we received it in stated that the radio is suitable for a child of 18 months and above, however there are no small parts on this so we gave it to our one year old under supervision. Upon playing with it we realised why the minimum age is 18 months, due to the radio dial needing to be turned. My daughter can't do this as she has no strength in her fingers yet, so this would be why the age is 18 months.
Due to this each time she wants it on, we have to turn it on for her.

The tigger radio is a basic toy which plays songs and tunes for you when you turn the dial. There is a small yellow dial you twist between the four main Pooh characters of Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore and Piglet. As you move each one, a different song is played, and ends with a tigger phrase in tigger's distinctive voice.

There are eight different tunes in the tigger radio, and it plays in random order when you turn the dial. The only down side attached to this is there is no volume switch and the music is quite loud, although it attracts children with the catchy tunes and flashing radio front.

My daughter loves looking at this radio and listening to the tunes that last approximately 30 seconds each. However she really needs someone to be there playing it with her as after each song has ended she then brings it back to you to turn the dial again to play another tune.
From an adults point of view I'm not convinced it's worth the £12.99 as it's a very basic toy that does one function. There are plenty of other toys on the market for the same price that will do a lot more than just play a tune and flash some lights.
The radio is made by Fisher Price and will cost approximately £12.99 depending on where you get it from.

Overall it seems a sturdy toy that has been dropped many times and shows no sign of wear yet.

Turn the dial to choose different characters and music styles and be entertained while dancing notes flash during the melodies.
