Great raffle toy for play on the go.

Tiny Love seem to produce toys that are as colourful as our favourites Lamaze and when I got this toy for free (it's a long story) I thought it was a great opportunity to explore the Tiny Love brand.
So what is Anna Banana? Anna is indeed a peelable soft banana whose peel is lined with various colourful material. Anna is eye catching from head to toe, and features the crinkly noise babies and toddlers (and adults like me) love. The colourful material include yellow soft velvet like material (the peel and body) and satin (the lining of the feel). Annas hands provide a surface for little ones to chew so teething babies are catered for. Underneath her feet you will find two small mirrors too. There's a large yellow attachment hook giving the parent an opportunity to attach Anna to a cot, carseat etc. Anna is also a rattle, which you discover when you bob her up and down. Anna may not have as many features (e.g. tags to pull) as larger toys, but she is compact and provides enough entertainment for a little one whilst out shopping.
What do we think of Anna? We love her. She's soft, can be chewed and when we get bored we can peel her and jingle her about. And as she has a nice big hook we can attach her to our carseat or pushchair and away we go.
Would I have bought Anna Banana at all if I didn't get her for free? If I knew how happy my little one would be to play with her then yes. Tiny Love toys were not on my list of toys to buy for little one, however after we were given this toy we bought the Arch for playing on the go in her carseat.
I am giving this item 4 stars, as I feel Anna could have featured more fabrics on the reverse sides of her 'peel'.

A Surprising Hit with my Son

I bought this Anna Banana Soft Toy by the Manufacturer Tiny Love when I was pregnant because I loved the banana shape and I also loved that it had the same name as me haha. It seemed like a pretty simple toy that wouldn't have that many uses really, I did just buy it because it looked nice. But this has become my sons favourite Toy and it goes everywhere with him!

The Toy is shaped exactly like a Yellow Banana and the "Peel" parts of the Banana are different bright colours. The Peels also make a "Crinkle" sound when played with which always thoroughly amuses my son! The banana has arms with plastic hands and since my son is teething he likes to bite down on the plastic hands. Then there's the feet which have plastic rings around them which make a nice "Jingly" sound when played with. The variety of Sounds and Textures that this Toy has is great and I think that is why it has been such a hit with my son.

Conveniently, there is a plastic ring attached to the top of the Banana which makes it really easy to attach to my sons' pram or cot. It is also useful for putting around my sons' wrist so that he can play with it and it makes it easier for him to grab. Occasionaly he puts the plastic ring in his mouth to bite down for his poor sore teeth too, so this Toy certainly has its many uses!

Our Anna Banana has gotten quite grubby since it has been used a lot now that my Son is 6 months old, but I have been able to put it in the Washing Machine and it is still nice. This toy is available on a few Online sites like Amazon.co.uk and Toy 'r' Us, it usually costs £9.99 which is what I paid. It would make a really nice first toy for a Young baby and it surprisingly keeps my son occupied for quite a while!
