I brought this for my daughter as a christmas present when she was 20 months. It cost me £19.99 from Argos. I haven't seen anywhere that does them much cheaper than this, they are all around the twenty pound mark. It's packaged in a nice big colourful box and has an open front so you can test it out. The photo album requires 2 x AAA batteries which are included. The idea of the Tomy photo album is that you put photos of your babies loved ones in and they can record a message for him or her. I was delighted on Christmas morning when I opened one of my 6 month old son's presents to find the Forget Me Not Photo Album by Tomy. My family is spread throughout the country so I thought this was an ideal solution to stop my son forgetting them and perhaps being strange around them. The Forget Me Not Photo Album is the shape of a bright friendly butterfly. The spine of the book is the body of the butterfly, the happy face of the butterfly is always visible. I have bought this forget me not toy for my son for Christmas. I am just in the process of putting in the photographs. It is made by Tomy and it is basically a mini photo album for babies in the shape of a very colourful butterfly with a cute friendly little face and rubber antennas. There are 8 pages where you simply slide in photographs; the pages represent the butterfly's wings. These pages are all different bright colours and each page has a crinkly tab to make it a little easier for babies to turn the pages. The front cover has a small round safety mirror. We have bought this talking album just recently as we are about to adopt a young child and this is an ideal album to introduce the child to us and other members of our family, before he actually meets us, as then he will get to recognise our voices as well as our pictures. We read about using this album to introduce ourselves on an adoption website, but I think it would also be ideal for any young child. It is a bit more fun than just an ordinary album.
