Advantages: great fun and hard wearing

Disadvantages: a little slippery for small hands

Wholst looking for something for my little niece last christmas we spottted these teletubbies in woolworths priced just short of £8, as she was already a big fan of the teletubbies i thought these would be a nice little present to add to her collection.

Each teletubbie is made out of a smooth shiny plastic, although this will stop a young child scratching them selves on the toy it also makes them more difficult to grip and my niece did struggle to start with with holding them, especially the larger two.

The square on the teletubbies tummy is made out of a different type of material and has a rubbery feel to it, the feet part of each teletubby has a smooth velvet feel to it so these toys allow young children to experience the feel and texture of different materials.

These teletubbies fit inside each other like the wooden russion dolls do but instead of a flat edge where the two pieces join these have a wavy edge helping to further develop a childs eye and hand coordination.

My little niece has hours of fun playing with these, she especially likes po as he doesnt come apart and she can push him over and watch him pop back up, she loves these and they are very hard wearing and easy to clean so will last her a long time.

Summary: a great baby toy
