Advantages: Colourful, very baby friendly 3 toys in 1

Disadvantages: Not the best rocker

My son got this Ride on for his first Christmas when he was 8months old. My mom wanted to buy him a rocker and saw that this one grows as he grows so decided this was the one he would have. With him being mad on cars it seemed like the perfect toy. it has 3 different play modes, a detachable steering wheel/car driver, a rocker and a ride on.

Detachable Steering Wheel:
A child can start playing with the detachable steering wheel from 6months old. This has 3 different settings, songs, driving and ABC. If you have the songs setting on it and press any of the buttons, move the steering wheel or change gears it will sing a different song. In the driving mode it acts as a replica car where baby can drive to the beach or park, speed up, slow down, indicate and press the horn. In the ABC setting it will sing the ABC's as baby turns the steering wheel.

Rocker
The Rocker I think is from 12months+. You can attach the steering wheel on the rocker at this point and baby can rock and play at the same time. To make it in to the Rocker all you have to do is loosen the yellow bar that holds the two wheels and spin it around. This is easy to do and requires no tools. the baby then just has to sit and rock, you can also leave the steering wheel off as there are handle bars that baby could hold on to if they arent too sure at first.

Ride
It is easy to change the Rocker in to the Ride setting, you just have to again loosen the yellow bar and turn the wheels around the opposite way and as with the rocker you can either have the steering wheel attached or use the handle bars instead.

Our Thoughts:
My sons prefers this ride on to any of the others he has (he has 3!). He can climb on all by himself at just 14months as it is quite low. He likes it to be on the Ride On with the steering wheel attached and set to songs. He got bored with the Rocker bit quite early on but I think that is because it doesnt rock enough for him, it is quite small movement and if it is a rocker you are after there are cheaper and better ones out there. This comes in lovely colours and is easy to assemble with minimum tools required - I actually set this up myself it is that easy! It is also easy for baby to turn the key on the steering wheel so start the music and changing the settings is something they can do quite easily. All in all it is very baby friendly, colourful, vibrant and the music/noises it makes arent too annoying! A worthy buy, easy to clean and good value for money.

Summary: Great buy if you are looking for a Ride on
