This was bought for my son last christmas when he was 4months old. It is available in the usual places you can buy toys such as Tesco, Toys R Us and also online such as at amazon.co.uk. It is currently priced at £7.99 on the amazon website and is suggested for children aged 3months- 3years.

As you can see from the picture it it a teddy bear that has a hard plastic body with a soft toy head and limbs. There is a little velcro strap on the top of it's head so you can attach it to buggies/cots.

On the body you will find 4 buttons. The small heart shaped button switches Alfie on and off. Underneath this are 3 buttons next to each other, each a different colour and showing a number and picture, these buttons also light up when activated.

Once switched on Alfie sings his little song about himself. Then when you press each button he sings a different song, one is about being hungry, one about being friends and the other about being sleepy. If you press the button again it states the number shown on that button and if pressed again will play a short piece of music.

I can't stand this toy, the songs are so annoying and luckily for me my son doesn't seem too impressed with it either. It is one toy he hardly plays with and once he's listened to Alfie singing a couple of songs he usually turns it off himself. So I doubt it is going to help him learn emotions and numbers as was suggested on he box!!!

Summary: Not a fan of this in our house
