Advantages: Kids love him!

Disadvantages: Annoying, not sure how it would be washed.

Alfie Bear was bought by my sister for my son's first Christmas, probably serves me right, after years of my buying her kids noisy toys!

My son was only 13 days old at Christmas and therefore didn't really have much interest in the toy. However, the lullaby setting on "sleepy bear" was very soothing for him.

As my son has gotten older he has become more interested in Alfie and is more able to work him himself (great!). Alfie is very easy to use and has big chunky buttons. The on switch is even a push button that a baby can easily operate.

It has to be said though that despite being very popular with the kids, Alfie is not quite so popular with the adults! He is very annoying especially when your child holds the button in or presses repeatedly!

The bear can be attached to a rear facing car seat with the velcro strap and my little one enjoys hitting out at him.

Summary: Good toy but very annoying
