This is a lovely little toy. I bought this two Christmases ago for my Nephew as his name is Alfie also! He absolutely loved this present and I'm glad to say its still going today!!
This bear is made by Vtech which are a very trustworthy brand for children's toys and equipment. Over the past few years i have brought many products from Vtech for my own children and nephews and have never been disappointed. Alfie Bear is priced around £9.99 and is sold in Mothercare.
The bear has an on/off button in the shape of a heart and also has three large, numbered buttons that when pressed, sing and talk to the child playing with it.
Some of the songs and phrases are quite competitive but you have to expect that as its a toy for children not adults! This toy is wipe clean only and has a strap at the top of the Bear's head so it can be attached to cots and car seats etc.
This toy is suitable for children 3 months onwards but I'd say its better for a child of 6 months to 2 years as at that age they can really appreciate it.
A Christmas must have!
