This was the first toy that I bought for my little girl. It cost me 5 Euros, I got it second hand. From the age of 6 months, my daughter started to understand that pushing one of the colored buttons, meant that a sound was coming out of the phone. Once she discovered that, mummy got nuts from the repeating sound of "one"but I was enjoying my daughters enthusiastic reaction to this phone. She's a bit older now, and still uses this phone daily, for instant to "call" grandpa. She really talks into the phone, which is so funny to see! And good practice as well, because sometimes she calls grandpa and grandma for real, so she does understand the idea of a phone now.

The phone uses two AA batteries and teaches your child the number one, two three and four, it rings when you push the blue phone button and (thank God for that) there is an on/off button on the phone.

If you switch the green button that also functions as the on/off button up or down, you can change the music/sounds coming out of the phone. From numbers, to speech. Very nice toy this is, although new it is a bit expensive, but worth the money.
