My 6 months old daughter got this toy for her first Christmas. On the begging she wasn't very interested in it. But after wile listen to the melodies she slowly start push it all round the house. The pop in out puppy always make her smile.
The Vtech pop-up surprise ball is a fun and friendly toy for babies aged three months and up. Press the star button on the top to see a cute puppy pop up! Other animal friends introduce numbers, animal sounds and melodies while the soft fabric bumpers add visual and tactile interest for little explorers!
After inserting batteries - and to turn the unit on. Slide the off/low volume/high volume selector switch to the low volume or high volume position.
To turn the unit off, slide the off/ low volume /high volume selector switch to the off position.
To adjust the volume, slide the off/low volume/high volume selector switch to the position for low volume or to the position for high volume.
To preserve the battery life, the Vtech pop-up surprise ball will automatically power-down after approximate 30 seconds without input. The ball can be turn on again by pressing any button.
ACTIVITIES
Slide the switch to low or high volume position.
If the pop-up puppy is down, you will hear "peek-a-boo" and a melody will play. After the song, the light will come and you will hear, "let's find the blue dog"
If the puppy is up, you will hear "peek-a-boo" and "I see you" followed by a giggle sound effect and a song will play. The light will come on with the sound.
Press the animal button on the side of the ball to hear the animal sound and a short phrase. Then a giggle sound effect will be heard and the light will flash.
Press the animal button again to hear a phrase and a random melody. The light will flash with the melody.
Press the light up star button to make the puppy appear and hear random talking phrase and melodies.
Roll the ball to hear a theme song. The light will flash with the song.
If there is no input for around 10 seconds you will hear a short tune. If there is no input for several more minutes, the unit will automatically go into sleep mode.

This ball is designed for baby's age 3 months and up
On the ball you will find three of the facets are narrow and covered in a cloth substance, whilst the other three facets are of hard yellow plastic, each one containing an animal button. The blue plastic bottom houses the battery compartment which requires a screwdriver, whilst the similarly colored top contains the on/off switch as well as a yellow star shaped light, which when depressed will reveal the "surprise" pop up puppy figure.
The ball requires two AA batteries and it is recommended that you don't use rechargeable ones.

This is a very nice toy for the babys, they can learn about different textues, songs.......
But it's anitmare for the parent becouse after few day you got inof .
