Hiya I bought this toy about 3 years ago now and it is still doing strong.
I bought this toy for my son as I needed something bright, cheerful,durable and basically my son proof as he is special needs and used to throw a lot of his toys.

Now my son is now 5yrs and this toy has been used many times, he loved the bright yellow coloured car with 5 assorted shapes which you had to post into the appropriate shaped holes as do his brothers the youngest who is just starting to play now 5 months.

The VW car has a lowering tailgate in which to retrieve the shapes after they have been posted into the car and when a shape is posted the car will play a tune or tell you the name of the shape. There are 5 brightly coloured shapes that come with this car, these are also very strong. When the shape is placed into the hole of the car the car plays a tune or says the name of the shape in a english spoken voice , also the cars headlights flash on the front.

This car is made by Vtech a realible name in childrens electronic toys, it can also be used as a pull along toy, making car noises a beep of the horn as it is pulled along by your child, the string that pulls this car along is only short but does the job.

I have no complaints about this car as it is great value for money, it has not only been bashed by my 1st son but my 2nd also and it is still being used today with my 3rd son who is just starting to explore and play with things.

This toy has a on/off switch underneth the car and takes 4 AA battereies.

I think this toy is a great educational toy as it teaches shape regognaition, colours, and motor skills and would recomend it for all youngsters.
