Advantages: finger rolling ball helps dexterity

Disadvantages: irritating voice

This toy has kept my 8 month son amused for 10 mins alone most days - quite good for that stage I would say compared to other toys. It is also colourful and catches my son'sattention quite easily. I feel the music setting is good but to be honest the vocal setting does become irritating to me. However i do feel the rolling ball really helped develop his finger control as he now prods other toys to see what they do after playing with this one. The battery life however isnt amazing but we were using it lots - the batteries werent available in shops (local DIY or supermarkets) so we had to go online which was a bit annoying but still worth it as he does enjoy it. The anteni are super for grabbing too and help his balance as he is trying to sit up now and play.

Summary: good toy for letting them play alone
