Wow Toys Fireboat Felix
Advantages: Colourful and fun
Disadvantages: As it starts to fill up with water it won't float
Maybe it's that he was born in a birthing pool or maybe it's just him but my youngest son LOVES taking a bath. He has a number of toys in there but one has been there for quite some time now and seems to be a favourite.
For his first birthday a friend got him a big box of WoW Toys bath toys. One of the things inside was a little fireman (Tom) and fireboat (Felix). My first thought was that Tom would go missing in no time but a year and a bit later he's still hanging around.
A lot of bath boat toys tend to fill up with water and don't actually float for more than a few seconds. Tom's fireboat manages to do rather well. From time to time it does start to fill up but by the time it starts getting heavy my son has begun pressing the turtle button which makes water shoot out the sides from four points. I got him out the bath not long ago and he brought the boat with him and soaked me! It had much more water in it then I had imagined.
We've enjoyed all the WoW Toys we've had but by far Tom and Felix are top of the list. The bright colours water shooting action make it great fun for little ones.
Little word of warning: Watch your little ones. If they hold the boat above tub height and press the shoot button you're going to get wet. My little man did this the other day and soaked the cat. She didn't look overly impressed but it was funny.
As mentioned before we got ours as part of a birthday present but you can purchase Fireboat Felix from Amazon for £7.99 or direct from http://www.wowtoys.com/
Regarding the bad reviews on Amazon ... Not sure what I can say except that we like it and have found that it floats rather well. It only starts to sink as it fills up with water that's not being shot out the side spouts.
