Great for little girls who like bathing their dollies!!! (Zapf Baby Born Doll)

Advantages: It does not talk or make any sounds!!!

Disadvantages: My daughter likes her babies to make crying sounds and talk!!

I don't know about your little girls...but my little girl loves her dollies, and every one of them she mothers!!! its so cute....

She had Baby Annabell to begin with, But i ended up having to buy her a second one as she had ruined her first one by continusly taking it into the bath, and into the swimming pool etc etc.... like all little girls she wanted to be a good mummy and to make sure her baby was clean and could swim!!!!!

So for her birthday this year, my sister brought her the Baby Born doll from Zapf creations ( magic eyes with potty) and also a Baby Born bath...... and its the best thing ever....not only does she love the doll, but she can bath it as much as she likes and it does not get ruined and also it does not talk!!!!! (which is a god sent for me and her daddy as baby annabell did start to get on our nerves..... sometimes it would be midnight and she would randomly start crying..... i thought it was possessed!!!)

For Xmas this year i have brought her the Baby Born Blue dolly ... as she has been asking for a boy baby, so her one that she has now has a brother just like her!!!! (as you may have guessed she is a bit of a demanding young missy)
I have already brought it from the Toy shop (the entertainer) for 17.50 and got some clothes for it as well from ebay...quite cheap... you can also get it from Amazon for 17.50 as the entertainer sells through Amazon.

I think these dolls are perfect if you have a little girl like mine who has a vivid imagination and wants to be a good mummy!!!
as they are quite resistant to water, dirt, lipstick, perfume, talc and everything else my little one has inflicted on her dolly.

You can collect lots of other things for these dolls such as its very own car, horse, bed, wardrobe, clothes. bath, buggy, etc etc....but to be honest i will buy her the doll and clothes, as i know she loves them but i do not buy all the other stuff as
A. we just do not have the room in our house,
and B.I also i think it can get a bit too much....there are always seems to be a new version, a new outfit a new accessory, and i just think its a way of conning loads of money out of parents.

She also wants that new chou chou doll with the tooth!!!! I think i best be starting to work some overtime to support all these dollies!!!! .... they will end up costing more than what she does!!!

I can not complain though as i love the fact that by having her love of dollies, it has made her a loverly little girl, she looks after all the dollies clothes by hanging them up, she pretends to iron them brfore she puts them on, before she goes to bed she puts their pj's on ....and so on and so on.... I really hope this phase lasts and she will continue with this level of responsibility but somehow i doubt it!!!! Roll on the teenage years!!!!

Summary: A really nice Doll, which in my opinion lasts longer than others around.
