Advantages: Lovely doll, can go in the bath.

Disadvantages: Most of the features do not work

I bought the Baby Born Magic eyes doll for my daughters second birthday as she is baby mad and at the time it was only £17.99 on Amazon so I thought it was a bargain.

The product discription sounded great, She drinks from her bottle, eats her own special food, needs her nappy changed, cries real tears, uses her potty, squeals with delight, has moveable limbs, is bathable and sucks her dummy.

Now although she does do some of these things I think they have streched the truth a bit!

She drinks from her bottle if you squeeze it into her mouth, you have to sort of push to bottle in and out to get her to drink it.

She cries if you squeeze her arm hard enough which I would too! My daughter still cannot manage this properly as its quite stiff.

She makes this stupid squeeking noise like a dog toy not sure if thats crying or squeling but not very lifelike!

The one thing she does really well is wee! So make sure she has a nappy on at all times! although she does have a valve in her back to let out water.

She drinks her own special food as its so watery and again the pooing doesnt really happen.

She came with her food, potty, bottle, two dummies one of which magically closes her eyes and a couple of nappies

However all this aside my daughter absolutely adores her and loves getting her dressed and changing her nappy and pushing her around in a buggy but, she loves doing this with all of her babies.

Worth the £17.99 I paid just for the lovely doll but not worth the extra for features that are a bit useless to be honest!

Summary: Buy for the lovely doll and not the features

That's one of the strangest review titles I've read in a while! Excellent review.
