      Very helpful

Flavour is great, melting is not!

Of late I have very much been trying to follow a healthier diet. Not because I'm watching my weight but because I'm aware that with eating so much junk food I do feel crappy a lot of the time...yet I love eating rubbish and always have done lol.

With my boyfriend arriving a couple of weeks ago to stay with me for a few days my healthy eating regime though started to fall apart at the seams even before he arrived. He really is one of the worlds worst eaters, only eating certain things and nothing one bit healthy. He would live on bars of chocolate, chips and pizza if it was down to his choices alone and has the biggest sweet tooth known to man!

So when he comes now I do try healthier options food wise which he doesn't like one bit but to soften the blow I do get a few treats in for him however I have still been trying healthier alternatives and hoping that he wouldn't notice and this was something I bought a while back as he loves the stuff and I had made some home made, low fat chocolate puddings to go with it!

      The Packaging:

The long cylinder can is a light blue in colour with an easy to pull off white ridged, plastic lid and under that you get a push button aeresol sprayer. On the front of the can we are told that it is Asda, Reduced Fat Real Cream 'Enjoy with fresh fruit or hot drinks' and that it is UHT sweetened and 250g in size (and the only size I have seen this available to purchase in by the way) and there is a photograph depicted of a bowl of fruit with some of this squirty cream on it on there too. Other information on the back of the can includes being told how to use it and the ingredients it contains, there is a full nutritional chart listed and we are given storage advice (store it in the fridge) and contact details for Asda are given. Nice enough looking, simple to use informative can this is.

      The Cream Itself:

Push your finger on the button after shaking the can first and you get a thickish stream of squirty cream shooting out. It is it bright white, smooth looking cream though although thick in its appearance it does look airy too and not one bit greasy.

Taste wise this is superb. It isn't a greasy cream, is light and gently but naturally sweetned with a really, really creamy taste and I love it.

However because it is fairly low fat it melts on warm/hot food rather quickly so unless you want a melted white mess on a drink or hot pudding I wouldn't go there as is doesn't look exactly appertising though to be fair it still tastes good!

On cold foods it fairs better though don't dilly down around too much as at room temperature once again it gives up the ghost and melts badly!

Taste wise and when first squirted this is a very nice, glossy and creamy cream I just wish it didn't melt so bad to not a lot though!
