“ Brand: Asda / Type: Baking Aids „
After being informed by my daughter that as part her school project in London, herself, her class and the whole year were having a tea party next Friday.
As part of the tea party, they all have to design a tray, alongside this co-ordinating plates and food too, with the topping on her fancy fridge made cake, being the subject of this review.
The product I will now review is - "Asda - sweet roses".
As my daughter is being marked on this particular project, we decided that not only were we....erm I mean she, was going to try and colour co-ordinate not just the utensils used, but also the cake decorations and the flowers set on the tray.
These particular decorations come housed within it's own clear plastic, 4 compartmented tray, each compartment holding either one large, or four small sugar crafted roses.
The tray itself slides out fro the outer clear box, this is for ease of removal, but also to protect the flowers from becoming broken when being removed, alongside this each hole is padded with a small piece of bubble wrap to stop any untoward pressure.
The roses themselves are very well crafted and ideal for sprucing up any cake, and can be attached onto said cake with a small dollop of icing.
Within the pack there are two large roses, one white and one red, with the other roses being a ¼ of the size but the same as the afore mentioned colours, so within this pack there are 10 flowers altogether.
The taste is plain and simply icing sugar, tasty, sweet and very light, nice but non descript.
Price wise these are currently available in this and many other forms for £1.00 a pack, but full price range from around £1.47.
