      Nice and good quality cream!

As a lover of all things unhealthy I love a big fat pudding dribbled with cream rather too often! This is why I am familiar with this cream....I have it rather often to be perfectly honest with you lol!

      The Packaging:

The white and blue carton contains 300ml of double cream. On the front of the carton I am told that it is Sainsbury's 'Fresh' Double Cream and what it can be used for (Cooking, pouring etc) and that it is suitable for Vegetarians and is made in Britain. On the back of the carton other information listed includes ingredients and allergy advice being given, a full nutritional chart is displayed and contact details for Sainsbury's are displayed too. Nice enough carton/pot of product and it has a see-through plastic lid to the top of it and for extra protection a foil one is under that that is easy to tear off.

      The Cream:

Glossy and a cream colour it is really smooth and not one bit lumpy. Serve as it is or whip it up a bit this is a creamy tasting cream that really is very nice indeed and once opened stays fresh if stored in the fridge for a good couple of days.

I like the way that this pasteurised cream isn't sweetened and has nothing added to it really flavour wise keeping it as plain cream! It's tasty and has body, looks good and doesn't melt to water when added to warm/hot foods either. Great for coffee this one is too as it isn't too oily it just is really pleasant and contains great flavour!
