Unless you like gravy on your cakes you will HATE these chocolate sprinkles! If I could I would not give any stars

These Will Make Your Cakes Look Like They've Got More Chocolate In Them Than They Have!!!

We've had these in the cupboard for ages but I hadn't noticed them because they were hiding behind all the food colouring bottles! lol My mum said she got them free when the Silver Spoon stuff was on special offer..... she must have brought shedloads for that offer because that's the only brand of baking stuff we've had this year so far! lol

These are what I'd call chocolate sprinkles but they're called STRANDS. They're tiny thin pieces of sugar that's brown to look like chocolate, they're too small to taste much of chocolate but you might be surprised with these because they have deffo got a stronger coco flavour than the ones me and my little sister used at Xmas to decorate some santa biscuits!!!

They are easy to sprinkle out of the tub because it's like a spice jar at the top and helps you not to accidentally dump the whole tub on one little fairy cake! lol I think they look wicked when you get them on just right, I had white icing on the cakes and that made the Chocolate Strands stand out good.

Like I said before, the chocolate taste isn't that strong that they change the taste of the cake. If you take a massive bite or if it's a strong flavoured cake you're eating then you might not even taste the chocolate but that's the same with ANY brand of these. At least these taste of chocolate if you eat a few on their own and that's more than happens with most sprinkly chocolate things.

When you eat them on their own you can taste that they're sweet but like the chocolate taste that isn't strong enough to make your cakes taste sweeter. The main point of these is for decoration and I think they're wicked for that because you can either put LOADS on and then the dark brown colour makes the cake look mega chocolately.... or use them for putting details into more fancy cakes.

Recommended..... make your cakes stand out!!!
