      I love summer fruits and totally change my diet as son as it gets warm; I'm living of strawberries, raspberries and of course pineapple. Normally I get my fruit from the market but since Tesco started to offer fresh and cut fruit I'm a regular there. The range includes several fruit salads, cherries, melon and pineapple. The fruit salad with mango and raspberry is my favourite but it is 3 pound for a pack so I normally buy the smaller pineapple pack for 1.15 pound.
      ----------------------

      Packing

      The pineapple pieces come in a small, clear plastic box with labels on front and back. The best thing is that a small fork is included so you don't have to take it home with you but can eat it while being at work or while walking.

      There is nothing in the pack that can prevent the pineapple from loosing juice as you can sometimes find it with other brands. I ordered something from graze.com and that also included fresh pineapple and in the pack was some tissue which absorbed all fluids.
      ----------------------

      Look & Taste

      Due to the lack of the above mentioned tissue the pineapple pieces are normally swimming in juice. I automatically assumed that they would be soggy but I was positively surprised; they were perfectly ripe and not soggy at all.

      The only thing that I have to criticise is that the pieces are too big; half their size would be great and much easier to eat. But it's not a real problem especially when you don't try to eat them while walking as I always try - and fail - to do.

      You can expect to have between 10 and 15 pieces in your box.

      Ingredients & Nutrition

      The Fresh Pineapple contains (of course) pineapple and no added sugar or preservatives. This makes it a really healthy snack and one 250g pack is equal to 1 of your 5 a day.

      The nutrition info is also stated on both the front and the back of the box. Each boy contains:
      * 110 Calories - 6% of your GDA
      * 24.5g Sugar - 27%
      * 0.5g Fat - 1%
      * Trace of Saturates - <1%
      * Trace of Salt - <1%

      That seems to be an incredibly high amount of sugar and I double checked that they really didn't add any extra sugar.

      Price & Value

      The 250g pack will cost you 1.15 pound at your local Tesco. It's a nice, quick and easy snack and I buy the cut pineapple regularly for my lunch break.
      The price is justified in my opinion; it's more or less half a pineapple and already cut so you don't have to worry about that.

      It's a pound worth spending if you are looking for a quick and healthy snack but if you have time it works out cheaper to buy a whole pineapple and cut it yourself.

      The taste is great and the pieces were fresh and not soggy.

      For me it's 08 out of 10!
