Love cooking with these bad boys!
I can't eat them on their own but thrown together with a meal these really bring the dish to life especially when toasted. They are a light taste but you can bring that out better when roasted them or adding olive oil.
Buying these from whole sale is better for us as a family financially plus we don't have to carry them home and splitting the bags!!
These are not very expensive for 500g that can be between £8-12

And again when they lightly and quickly toasted they bring the dish to life, this is the best part but you can throw a handful in with salads works well but I think they have less flavor.

That may be the plus side but for one tablespoon this is 58 kcal. It's very little and often now since being on the 5.2 diet that we enjoy these so when we do we HAVE to make sure the dish we picked to put them in works well and is enjoyable. For us a spinach, feta and pine nut salad is the best with olive oil!
These are sold on a variety of websites at different prices but they are well worth having as a store cupboard ingredient but make sure you store these air tight, left open t long and they go off and taste bad real quick.
