Dinah93 HSBC: ... stands for the Hong-Kong and Shang-Hai Banking Corporation, and due to the international nature of their banking has been widely billed as the healthiest bank both entering and throughout the credit crunch. I have been a customer of HSBC for 11 years now, and while I have opened secondary accounts with other banks, I have always kept my main account here. HSBC operate the usual online, over the phone, or in br...

You can check all your accounts at once like current, saving ...

... was with Barclays at 18 years of age, but they refused me a student loan so I tried HBC and getting the loan couldn t of been easier so I dropped Barclays. talking to friends at the time they had similar issues with Barclays. Since switching I have been very happy with HSBC and have no reason to change 13 years later. Debit card was issued as standard with my current account, and credit cards were easy to get too. I don t spend much on credit cards so can t comment on that too much. The only thing i have noticed is that they seem very strict on fraud which I can understand but is also a bit annoying as I will all too often have to verify a transaction before it is comp...
