... supposeably the worlds top digital method of online payments. In my experience I do not rate paypal at all! Sending money across to pay for items won on eBay, been able to pay friends money back but other than that utte rubbish. natwest.co.uk ... though I have only been with this bank for a couple of months, I would have to say that I think that Natwest is a great bank and one of the best around. When I went to open an account I thought it was going to take weeks to process, but once opened, I could deposit money on the same day, and my Pin number cam about four days later. They make banking really easy. Also, they have a great online banking system which saves you going to the bank itself if you need to make a payment or set up a direct debt. You can also look at a bank statement, showing all of the recent activity on your account, including all withdraws and desosits, showing where they came from. When yo... But because it isn t dependent on your logging in and using basic online facilities, it at least gives you some choice as to how you use the online facility. Overall I ve had a very positive experience using the online banking and I give it full marks. ~ Final thoughts ~ Banks all have issues and downsides. But at least NatWest do seem to be trying to avoid some of the pitfalls made by other banks by keeping it local! It makes a surprising difference and this bank account is a perfect one for someone who either needs a basic bank account, but for whatever reason finds they can t get a regular account else... Application process The application process for this account is quite simple you will need a form of address and identity id and the bank may check for electoral roll details but as this is a simple bank account they do not perform a credit search.
