Abbey National: ... that I had no money for petrol and could not get to work today. They said that I just had to wait while Abbey resolve it and that the worst case senerio it could take between 2 and 4 weeks !!!! I rang the Banking Ombudsman who has drafted a letter to Abbey that will take aboout 3 to 5 days to reach the right Abbey personnel. Even then, the Ombudsman has to give Abbey at least 8 weeks to resolve the issue. What c...

	Natwest Bank ... reason I opened my first bank account here was that my parents banked here so that s what I decided to do. I have chosen to stay with them ever since as the service is so good. Whenever I go in I am are greeted with a smile and spoken to like a person, not an account or another number. I always find that the staff are helpful and approachable and in happy moods! I don t receive much marketing from them but that is how I like it. I receive just enough that I still feel a valued customer and not one that is forgotten. 	Lloyds TSB ... am disgusted at the way I have been treated by Lloyds. I telephoned them in the morning to make a transfer of some money into my mother s account. As her account was also with Lloyds, I was told that the transfer would be made within 4 hours. Later that evening I checked my account only to find that the transfer had not been made. So I telephoned them AGAIN to request the tranfser be made. I was then told that they have new checks in place and that these would have to be made first. I said fair enough but get on with it because the money needed to be in her account by the morning. I was kept on hold for 45 minutes only to be told to call back the next morning. I called ... 	paypal.com ... has certainly become a invaluable site of recent years, to the point where you have to have it in order to do some transactions. if your buying from ebay its easy perfect and almost everyone accepts payapl. whatever your buying now at most sites its paypal as the easy option. its free and easy to register which is a good thing. there are some complications and annoying parts though, like verifiying your bank for transer you need to go in and get a codde they sent on your statement in order to proceed , ok thats aone time only thing but still annoying to have to do. also trasnfering your money from paypal into your account seems to take forever. at least over a ...
