Natwest Bank: ... would now order my husband a correct card, but that left us with no cards between us for over 6 days due to the weekend. I didn t even receive an apology. Our finances have changed over the last four years since having our first child, and now we have no debt and the choice to bank with who we want, we have closed all our accounts and are in the process of moving to a competent one. 	HSBC ... was time to open a new HSBC account for me yesterday so I headed over to the nearest branch in my area. No staff were on hand to help me though with finding out information on how to open one. Took them a lot of time just to see me,some of them were just chatting away on the side and paying no attention to the need of customers.I finally found help and then was allowed to open a account with them. It did not look good on them doing this to a first time customer of their branch. Today I came in to actually pay some money in and the lady on the till could not count the cash. 	hsbc.co.uk ... joined the online banking with HSBC last night and the process went nice and easy. You can see on the website that you need to give all your banking details plus additionally you need to call them up to get your security number,this can not be found on your card. It took a while calling them up and getting my number sorted out. Then I managed to have got on the banking and started to use banking online. You can check your statements and even send money easily with HSBC online. I was awaiting payment from somebody on Ebay so I gave them my banking details of a bank transfer. 	HSBC ... m going to write this review based on my local branch and the services I have received from them. When I moved back to Newmarket at 16, I didnt have a bank account, and when I got my first job, I needed one. My mum took me up and down the High Street, trying out branches. We struggled in a lot of places to open one, as most wanted a passport or drivers liscence to open an account - neither of which I had! Eventually, we headed to HSBC and they accepted that I could open my account using my birth certificate, and thought it was stupid to think all 16 year olds would have a passport or driving licence!
