	Barclays Bank ... of the top banks in the world, with branches spreading across the world! You would think they got there with excellent customer service and management, all is not so... It has to be said that Barclays does boast a nationwide array of easy access branches, and you re never far from a cash point that supports a Barclaycard. However the lack of staff in these branches guarantees you a cue. I have yet to walk into a Barclays, even the local one in the middle of nowhere, and not had to cue for more than 5 minutes. 	Abbey National ... all, You have to forgive me if i come across really angry and rambling on about Abbey s unbelievably horrific service, but you need to hear the whole story for you to understand this. I cannot put on to words how angry i am with Abbey, and the insult to their customers, the carelessness, rudeness and the lying. I have received one of those automated call, urging me to call their fraud helpline number. Once i did, the person who picked up the first call after sometime in the queue, did not know where i should be diverted to?!! 	Nationwide Building Society ... opened a Nationwide FlexAccount back in 2006, as I was going to be living in Russia for a few months, and wanted to be able to get money out abroad without paying fees or commission! When I opened the account I signed up to internet banking and opened an e-savings account. This meant that if I had any money in the account I wasn t using, I could transfer it into e-savings and earn a little bit of interest until I needed it, when I could transfer it back. I also applied for a credit card (only for use in emergencies), but didn t bother asking for an overdraft. I ve never used this as my main account, but keep it chiefly for using abroad.
