kjmccabe Nationwide Building Society: ... banked with Nationwide since I was a child (i am now in my late twenties) and have never had a problem with them up until about 2 years ago, or the beginning of the credit crunch . Basically my situation was as follows: I had a credit card with them with about £1000 on it which I was paying off at a reasonable rate of £50 a month, plus a current account with an overdraft of £650, which I was usually well into ...

... have been with this banking group sunce a child. Although i don t think they are the best, i very much doubt they are the worst. Like all banks, you have a choice of current accounts, savings accounts, and ISA accounts for saving. The interest rates on these again are not the best but there are worse. At the time of writing this review they have a very competitive current account where a deposit of £1000 or more in a month will earn you £5. This is much better than the rubbish 0.1% interest accounts that are going about. Savings accounts and ISA s are best if dealing over the internet or phone as in branch the interest rates are poor like in all banks. Staff are very ...

cdsmiler81 paypal.com
... review is regarding my personal experience with PayPal in the past few weeks. I ve used PayPal on and off now for many years. It s one of the most secure ways of paying for items via Ebay (especially considering it s support if there s an issue with a buyer/seller on Ebay), and more and more online companies are allowing PayPal to be used as a method of payment when shopping online. This is a nice improvement as it saves you having to input your card details into site after site. However, using a credit card (NOT debit) online is just as secure as most credit cards provide excellent security measures and you can easily get your money back if something dodgy happens...

frank+Schulmeyer Abbey National
... ve been an Abbey mortgage holder for the last 3 years. The mortgage is interest only, so I am obviously keen to pay off lump sums as often as possible. When I wanted to transfer some funds from Germany, I was told that this is easy, all I needed was an IBAN number, which was supplied. However when the transfered the money, it was sent back by the Abbey with no comment, just less a lot of fees. After many inquiries into this, I was told that you can t just do this (ANY other English or European bank does it this way) and had to go down a very bizarre route of various transfers to various banks. Very dubious.... Anyway, I tried another transfer, this time into an Abbey sa...
