I have been with Abbey National for about 7 years now. I have never taken out a loan or a morgage, thank god! So I'm looking more at their charges. I have been overdrawn a lot in my account, I think around 10 times maybe? And each time I get charged £40!!! they have now taken around £400 from me! i hate this bank!! i have been with them for 18 years and at first they were ok but they have rapidly gone downhill. every time i go into any branch of abbey national there is always a huge que and you have to wait for ages as they always seem to be staff shortages. you have to wait for such a long time. sometimes i have just walked out as i know i will not be seen for ages and i just simply have not got the time. another bad thing with abbey national as with all banks and building societys at the moment i suppose is the charges. i went over by one pound and they charged me thirty five pounds for doing this! it was a genuine mistake and i can not afford to ...
