Advantages: Online Banking

Disadvantages: Unfair Charges , dont help you in time of need

It difficult with the likes of the Abbey to have your money work for you they seem to spend half their time charging you for it.
I have a perfect account for about 9 years, after which time money it started getting a bit tight, within no time the charges were piling on, i thought best get a overdraft before i get into debt with charges, they refused and before no time i was being charged left right and center.
Very little help and assistance from the Abbey unfortunately, the fact that i only went overdrawn by a few pounds and they still charge me £35 pound, what are they thinking charging this amount, if i am in the situation surely i cant afford it.
I am not asking for charity i just want to be treated with respect and honesty which i don't think the Abbey knows anything about.
In comparison, the Natwest has helped and assisted and i only put small savings in there. The Abbey i put all my salary including my wife and use them to pay my bills, Abbey disappointing.
The online banking is ok i suppose if i was to be kind
